Uhrenholt Russia goes to Formula 1

Russia makes its long-awaited Formula 1 debut in Winter Olympic city Sochi October 10th – 12th, 2014. Uhrenholt Russia is delivering the menu contents for 5000 VIP guests who will dine in the Formula One Paddock Club.

Organizers expect a crowd of about 55,000 on Sunday, most of them from within Russia to watch the street race that will run around the Black Sea resort's Olympic Park, against a backdrop of some of the venues familiar to television viewers worldwide from last February.
Uhrenholt will be the food provider for this prestigious event. Taking many of the learnings from Sochi 2014, Uhrenholt Russia pivoted the business model and succeeded in becoming the exclusive partner to the Austrian catering giant, Do & Co who run the Formula One VIP lounges worldwide, and have secured a 6-year contract for the Russian event.
This was Do & Co’s first experience in Russia, and Uhrenholt played the role of trusted advisor in many of the challenges that faced them in setting up their operation in Sochi.
Gert Kretschmeir, GM for Do & Co was full of praise for the passion and commitment demonstrated by the Uhrenholt team – “The quality of the food delivered by Uhrenholt was everything we expected, they didn’t disappoint, and we will be delighted to partner with them again next year.”
